First trip in 2015, and I am feeling blessed to be able to travel with a group of friends.
Been to Bangkok several times, and for me at least, this time its not about shopping!

Flight: Singapore Airlines
I've been taking budget airlines namely Airasia, Scoot and Tiger Airways to Bangkok, but why Singapore Airlines this time? (No, its not that I have too much money to spend!) Before this trip, I have done several price comparison between the airlines, and the following was what I found:
Dates: 9 to 14 January
Scoot (www.flyscoot.com)
$191 after tax with 7kg carry on luggage
+ $22 extra 20kg check-in luggage
Note: It was not on promotion fares
Singapore Airlines (www.singaporeair.com)
$230 after tax with 10kg carry on luggage + 30kg check-in luggage + free in-flight meals
Note: It was on 2-to-go promotion (local fare deals)
SQ have monthly 2-to-go promotions, sometimes it can be quite an affordable deal like ours! And obviously my friends who are going Bangkok to shop all opt for SQ with 30kg check-in baggage!
Do your homework and choose the airline that suits your needs!

Hotel: Siamese Studio
It's a boutique hotel, small but definitely cosy. 3 rooms for 8 of us.
Rates are available on agoda.com.
I can say that I'm pretty satisfied with my stay there as the boss was very welcoming and helped us in every way we needed, which includes my surprise birthday party!
